Uno nunca lo hubiera imaginado. Tan guarros, rebeldes y desfachatados como eran los Ramones, uno ni pensaría que iban a tocar un tema tan meloso (er... ¿alguno escuchó "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend"?).

Pero resulta que el señor Phil Spector, productor del Let It Be de los Beatles y del girl-group de los '60, The Ronettes, se interesó en esta banda y les ofreció producirles un disco. Y como estos chicos (especialmente Joey) eran fans de su extenso trabajo, le dijeron que sí.

El disco en sí es lo más pop que hicieron los Ramones en toda su carrera. Si bien su toque siempre estaba ahí, los temas eran enteramente disfrutables, incluso para aquel que no le gusta el punk (jajajaja, qué idiota). Es el disco perfecto para mostrarle a cualquiera que piense que los monchos hacían el mismo disco una y otra vez (como si eso fuera algo necesariamente malo).

Este temita es el más meloso de todo el disco. Es un cover de las mencionadas Ronettes, compuesto y producido por el mismo Phil Spector. Y esta versión es una BELLEZA (nótense las mayúsculas). Uno hasta duda que el tema sea de los Ramones, hasta que Joey empieza a cantar, y déjenme decirles que lo hace mejor que nunca.

Así es gente, hasta el punk más rebelde tiene un corazoncito sensible. :P
